How True? Maina Gets SSS Protection Despite Being Wanted For Fraud Posted: 25 Oct 2017 04:01 AM PDT Despite being on the run after being declared 'wanted' by the EFCC for alleged corruption, the former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform, Abdulrasheed Maina, was provided with federal security cover? According to Premium Times investigation, for months Maina received protection from operatives of the Police and the State Security Service, SSS. The SSS also provided an accommodation for him. Mr. Maina is currently at large and did not report to duties on Monday at the Ministry of Interior where he was recently posted to. Spokesperson of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren said the agency was intensifying its search for the fugitive. The fresh search was triggered by a PT report on Friday detailing how the former pension boss, who fled Nigeria in 2013, sneaked back and was reinstated into the civil service, and promoted. The story sparked outrage amongst Nigerians and the civil society who viewed the case as a litmus test for the anti-corruption effort the Buhari administration. On Monday, President Buhari ordered for immediate disengagement of Maina and demanded a report of the circumstances leading to his reinstatement from Head of Service. The report has been turned in. SSS, Police involvement PT learnt that all the while, Maina was being provided guards by SSS. A safe house in Maitama, said to belong to the SSS, was also provided for his use. SSS does not have a known spokesperson to respond to this story. PT phoned the director general of the SSS, Lawal Daura, and service's director of operations, identified as Mr. Bassey, but both officials did not respond to multiple calls. It was discovered that Maina's controversial $2m house in Jabi, Abuja, was guarded by the police. A PT reporter who saw an armed police guard at the property on Monday, confirmed that the operative was posted there from the Maitama police division. The FCT Police spokesperson, Anjuguri Manzah, said he was not aware of the posting. He promised to find out and get back to this newspaper. He was yet to do so. Mouthwatering offer Meanwhile, PT has obtained more details about how Mr. Maina purchased the Jabi property. As exclusively reported two years ago, Maina used bankers and other intermediaries to launder most of the money he allegedly embezzled from the pension funds in his care. The process of purchasing the Jabi Abuja home, followed a similar pattern. Investigators familiar with the deal said Maina, who paid for the house in cash, made a mouth-watering offer to the first owner, one Adamu Modibbo, a former managing director of Sigma Pension. The property was not in the market so Maina, acting through a middleman, approached Mr. Modibbo with an enticing offer. Mr. Modibbo initially resisted the proposal to sell the house, where he was living with his family, but was given what an official called an "irresistible offer". Officials said both the buyer and the seller contravened provisions of the Money Laundering Prohibition Act by transacting in cash, given the amount involved. Investigators, who traced the land documents at the Abuja Geographic Information System, AGIS, found that the title documents were collected by an official of Guarantee Trust Bank. Investigators later found that the man had resigned his post from the bank and disappeared. Contacted for comments, Modibbo said he would not want to make any comment. He said he would rather "allow EFCC to get to the root of the matter". culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |

If not for my partying lifestyle she would have been my wife – Jim Iyke on dating Rita Dominic Posted: 25 Oct 2017 03:30 AM PDT Actor Jim Iyke has been dishing about his past in recent times. In a new interview with Broadway TV, he opened up on why his relationship with Rita Dominic didn't lead to marriage; "Rita and I met when I was just beginning to embrace fame, the comforts that came with it. The laurels and the distraction, even the destruction. And Rita is not the kind of woman that hangs around a groth. We were very deep with each other. We still are great friends. As a matter of fact, it may surprise you that we haven't spoken to each other in over two years. But when we meet, we are cordial, respectful. There is that deep rooted thing of a man or woman you shared something with. I don't think Rita at that time was looking at longevity, truthfully. Don't forget, I was the kid with the crazy afro, ready to start a fight. My life was around having a good time and as many conquests as possible. So, who wants that kind of guy? So this question is futuristic in a sense. Fast forward perharps 10 years from now, that question may have had dept or hold water." He further said their relationship crashed due to his wild behaviour and bad boy antics back then; "But then, what was there to hold on to? I mean, seriously? I was partying like a crazy person. She tried to show me another life and say listen 'there is so much more to you'. So place the same place and situation now, it may have worked." culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |

Checkout how much Kris Jenner made from the Kardashians new $150 million deal | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 25 Oct 2017 03:27 AM PDT Kris Jenner knows how to work it ... because as well as scoring $150 million in the Kardashian's new E! contract, she's pocketed $15 million in manager's fees. According to TMZ, it's standard operating procedure in Hollywood for managers to take a fee. Fact is ... Kris is giving her fam a break with a 10% fee, because many managers get 15%. Plus she's the one who negotiated the deal, which is 50% higher than the last one the family signed with E! in 2015. In this case, of the $150 million, $15 mil will be taken off the top for Kris. As we reported, the remaining $135 million will be split among the family as they see fit. And remember ... Kris gets a piece of that pie. As we told you, the $150 million covers all services provided by the family, and is payment for 5 cycles -- or seasons -- which will take them through 2019. culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |

How Strange Sickness Paralysed Pretty Actress Lydia Forson Posted: 25 Oct 2017 03:01 AM PDT Endowed and talented Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson took to her page to thank God for her spared life. She has been down for a while now, after she had a major surgery and was paralysed. She declared herself a survivor as she narrated her experience. Read her story... "Last year I was in the best shape of my life, I was healthy, strong and everything seemed to be falling into place. But little did I know that God was preparing me for a tough year ahead. Living in the public eye means going through a lot alone. You hesitate to share certain parts of your life with the world, because you can't always trust that people will understand what you're going through, have compassion or even be sensitive to your pain. That's how I underwent major surgery this year and kept it to myself, even sharing it now terrifies me. But as I celebrate another year I want to celebrate my survival story and all the people who made it possible. Not being able to walk, bath, and do basic things you usually take for granted teaches you a lot about life, humility and all the little things we often overlook. In this period I've had to smile through the pain, tears and healing. I felt the need to mask my fears for my loved ones, because I didn't think anyone would quite understand the range of emotions I was going through. I played the part of the strong, ever ready tough girl perfectly, until the day of surgery. Thankfully I survived. And this period brought me so much clarity on my life and I came to appreciate the raw gift of love, family, friendship and even forgiveness. But most importantly it reminded me that I'm NEVER ALONE, especially in the moments I need it most. The overwhelming love and support from my family, friends and others I encountered during this period is a testament of GOD's unwavering presence in my life. So today, I want to thank God, by celebrating these people who he's strategically placed in my life at nearly every turn to see me through the worst. My mother, father, brothers, friends, doctors and even fans who've impacted my life one way or the other. I may not always understand Gods plan for my life and the things I go through, but I have faith that he's with me every step of the way, and I'll survive." culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |
AGF Malami Opens Up On His Role In Bringing Back Maina Posted: 25 Oct 2017 02:30 AM PDT The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, yesterday broke his silence on the allegation that he spearheaded the recall, promotion and posting of Abdulrasheed Maina to the Ministry of Interior. Malami said: "I am a legal practitioner, who is always guided by law and public interest and will therefore not do anything that deviates from the law or breaches public interest. "I believe that Nigerians are entitled to know the truth in the entire saga and I am ready to speak directly to them when I appear before the Senate since I have been summoned by the legislature, which is investigating the matter. "I will not however talk until I get clearance from my principal on the matter and I look forward to addressing anxious Nigerians on the matter when I appear before the Senators." Malami, who grudgingly spoke to Vanguard, last night, said he would rather respond to the avalanche of allegations against him when he formally appears before the Senate, which had summoned him to speak on his role on the entire saga. Malami, who did not make reference to anyone, nonetheless, described the allegations made against him as 'a grand conspiracy and mischief' but did not explain who the conspirators were. How AGF used FCSC to reinstate Maina Meanwhile, details of how the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice bypassed the Head of Service of the Federation and used the Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission to reinstate the wanted chairman of the defunct Presidential Task Force on Pensions Reforms, emerged last night. This came as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday continued with identification and marking of no fewer than six houses in many parts of the country traced to the wanted Maina. Spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the raid on the identified properties but did not disclose nature and locations of the property. "We have continued our efforts to track Maina down and our operatives have also intensified the identification of properties which he might have used the proceeds of corruption to secure while in office," the spokesman said. Top federal officials conversant with how the AGF got Maina back into the federal service after he had absconded for over three years, described Abubakar Malami's action in the recall and promotion of Maina as desperate and a breach of known public service rules. Vanguard learned that in his desperate bid to return Maina to his post, Malami wrote two memoranda to Oyo-Ita to recall Maina based on the lame argument that no court of the land had convicted him of any offence but the woman ignored him since she was sure the chief law officer had breached established rules of the civil service. culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |

Prisoners To Vote In Nigeria's 2019 Elections, says INEC Posted: 25 Oct 2017 01:31 AM PDT The Independent National Electoral Commission says it is making arrangements with the Nigeria Prisons Service to ensure that prisoners are allowed to vote in the 2019 general elections. The Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said this in Abuja on Tuesday at a dialogue session with the Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room Dialogue – a coalition of civil society groups. The development comes 3 years after a Federal High Court in Benin, Edo State, ruled that prisoners in Nigeria have the right to vote in all elections conducted in the country. The INEC boss said the commission was looking at the possibility of creating polling units in Nigerian prisons to allow some categories of inmates to vote. He, however, said certain categories of prisoners would not be allowed to vote depending on the nature of the crimes they committed. Yakubu said, "We have already engaged the Comptroller-General of Prisons and we have statistics on the number of prisoners nationwide and the number of inmates that are registered. We are looking at the possibility of creating polling units in the prisons and to enable some categories of prisoners to vote. "Ghana does it but there are some categories of prisoners who by the nature of crimes committed lose the right to vote. Whatever we can do to open up the process to ensure that as much as possible Nigerians are given the opportunity to vote, will be done." culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |

Pretty Lady With 12 Distinctions Speaks: "How I Broke 28yrs OAU Record" Posted: 25 Oct 2017 01:01 AM PDT Aarinola Olaiya is set to become the first medical student to graduate with distinction in Surgery at the Obafemi Awolowo University since 1989. She shares her experience with Punch's Chux Ohai, ahead of the institution's forthcoming convocation. Excerpts: What major factor inspired your academic performance in OAU? I really cannot explain it. What I can say is that the grace of God has been at work from my first day in the university. Apart from that, I am a focused person. I always like to have a goal in mind and I make sure that I focus on that goal without giving room to distractions. I think this is what happened. Right from the day I was admitted into the university, I made sure that I remained focused in my studies. As an undergraduate of Medicine, what was your daily routine like? Every day, I would wake up, have my bath and attend lectures. I usually go to the classroom in the morning. Sometimes, I would attend a lecture at 8am till about 4pm. Then I would return to my hostel to have some rest and attend to other things or proceed on call. Sometimes I would stay on call till the following day. Basically my daily routine was like that. Did you have time for leisure? Of course, I had. But, weekends were very important to me. I spent most weekends studying. The higher I went in medical school, the more time I created to read my studies. Didn't you attend parties at weekends? No. I never had time for parties. That wasn't my idea of leisure. I just went out with my friends to eat and then, we would have fun during the day before returning to the hostel. What kind of fun? We went out to eateries to have lunch, take pictures and so on. We didn't go to clubs or drink alcoholic beverages. What kind of friends did you keep at school? I had just a few friends in the university. They were all purpose-driven people who knew where they were heading to. What kind of relationship did you have with your parents? My parents have been very supportive from day one, especially my mum. She keeps me going all the time. My siblings have been very understanding, too. They accepted me the way I am and kept encouraging me all the while. Do you have a boyfriend? Yes. I have a boyfriend, but I never allowed him to come between me and my studies. He does not live in Ile-Ife. So he visits me in school sometimes. Most of the time, we communicate to each other via the telephone. Why did you choose to study medicine? I had always known that I would be a doctor. I actually got admission to study Botany in my first year at OAU. That was in 2010. But then, I knew that I wasn't going to end up being a botanist. I knew I was going to be a doctor. So I sat another UTME and here I am today. Did you plan to graduate with distinction? I did not set out to graduate with distinction in the university. I just think that I tried to strive for perfection. Although it is good to have goals because they keep you going, who you are really matters a lot. Then there is the God factor. I still believe that the grace of God has a lot to do with my achievement. How would you describe your experience in medical school? Medical school is not for just anybody. If you have a daughter that wants to study medicine, you have to make her think seriously about her ambition. You have to ask her if she really wants to be a doctor. You have to count the costs before she goes ahead to study medicine. Initially, I was excited about being in Medical school. In Part Two, I started reading big books. Then I started getting used to the language of Anatomy, Medical bio-chemistry and more. With time, I got used to it. To keep going, even as some people were being withdrawn from medical school, I just had to hold my head high. For someone like me that was getting many distinctions, keeping up with the success story was tough. But I didn't expect that my efforts would result in such huge success. I only wanted to try my best and do everything possible in my power to get things done. What are your plans for the future? I don't want to comment on my plan for the future, but I am working on it. culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |
Drunken Policeman Shoots Man Over N15,000 In Delta Posted: 25 Oct 2017 01:01 AM PDT A farmer in Ubulu Uku community, Delta State, Ijeh Chukwuedo, is recuperating at Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, after undergoing a surgery to remove bullets lodged in his stomach and thigh. The 23-year-old was reportedly returning home from his farm on Sunday when a drunken policeman, identified simply as Sergeant Emeka, gunned him down along Ubulu-Issele-Uku Road. It was learnt that Emeka and two other policemen had wanted to pick up Chukwuedo over N15,000 wages he collected from a man, identified as Funaya. The cops were said to have been led to the scene by Funaya and they stood by the roadside waiting for Chukwuedo to emerge from the farm. According to Punch, the moment Chukwuedo, who was riding a motorcycle, surfaced, Funaya alerted the cops. He was flagged down, but he reportedly attempted to evade arrest. When it appeared that they might not catch up with him, Emeka reportedly opened fire, which hit him in the stomach and thigh. A resident, who did not want his name in print, said Chukwuedo was rushed to a hospital while the trigger-happy policeman was arrested. He said, "Sergeant Emeka is well known in Ubulu Uku community. He is a drunk and we learnt he was drunk that day when he shot Ijeh (Chukwuedo). Other policemen with him blamed him for shooting the young man. People wanted to mob him, but he was rescued. He has been taken into custody. Ijeh is admitted to the FMC, Asaba." Chukwuedo was said to be asleep when our correspondent demanded to speak with him on Tuesday. However, the Coordinator of a human rights body, Behind Bars Intervention, Harrison Gwamnishu, told Punch on phone that Funaya had contracted Chukwuedo to work on a farmland. He said Funaya gave the victim N15,000 for the work, which he failed to complete as agreed. The coordinator stated that Funaya, in company with a friend, Tochukwu, confronted Chukwuedo on Saturday and asked him to refund the money. Gwamnishu said, "They had Iwu festival in the community on Saturday. Funaya and Tochukwu went to Chukwuedo's house to collect the money. Chukwuedo said he would not refund the money since he had already started the work Funaya gave him and promised to complete it after the festival. "He said Tochuwku angrily asked him to pay the money and he scolded him for meddling in a matter that did not concern him. The disagreement led to a fight. "The following day, Funaya led some policemen to arrest Chukwuedo and they waited for him to come out of his (Chukwuedo's) farm. As he came out from the farm on his motorcycle, they asked him to stop. "Because that road is usually quiet and for fear of being killed, he tried to escape. One of the policemen, Sergeant Emeka, shot him. He was injured in the stomach and thigh. The other policemen took him to a hospital in the community. He was referred to the FMC, Asaba, where he underwent a surgery." Gwamnishu said the victim's family had spent about N50,000 on his treatment, adding that the police only sent N10,000 as medical bill. "They have not come to check him at the FMC. The policeman that shot him should be punished accordingly. He is a drunk and is not fit to be carrying a gun," he added. When contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Zanna Ibrahim, said, "I have not been fully briefed. I will find out." culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |

We are looking at the possibility of creating polling units in the prisons and to enable some categories of prisoners to vote. culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |

Dambazau Tells Maina: Surrender To EFCC Posted: 25 Oct 2017 12:30 AM PDT The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has asked the wanted former chairman of Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, to report to the EFCC. Dambazau's directive is contained in an official correspondence sent to the EFCC by the ministry. It was learnt that the letter was in response to a letter written to the ministry asking that it makes Maina available for questioning. Sources within the EFCC told Punch that the usual procedure for inviting senior government officials is to write to the head of the ministry or agency where the person works. A source at the EFCC said, "The Ministry of Interior sent a letter to the EFCC on Tuesday informing the commission that it had mandated Maina to make himself available for questioning at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja. "So far, Maina has not made himself available and we are still looking for him." The suspect has also not reported to work since the close of work last Friday. Also speaking with one of our correspondents on the telephone, the spokesman for the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said that operatives were still on Maina's trail. He said, "We are still on his trail and he has not yet been arrested." An EFCC source revealed that the commission had limited its search to the Kaduna/Kano area. Dambazau spoke even as Maina's lawyer, Esther Uzoma, said on the telephone on Tuesday that she did not know his whereabouts. When asked if she would cooperate with the authorities to locate him, Uzoma refused to speak further. Uzoma, who is a human rights activist, said, "I don't know where he (Maina) is and I cannot speak further." Senate, House begin probe The Senate and House of Representatives have ordered separate investigations into the circumstances surrounding the reinstatement and subsequent promotion of Maina. Pursuant to this, the Senate yesterday set up an ad hoc committee to investigate Maina's reinstatement as a civil servant and subsequent promotion. The Senate's decision followed the adoption of a motion moved by Senator Isa Misau. In his motion, Misau noted that it was disheartening that an individual, who had been on the wanted list of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for fraud-related offences, could be re-absorbed into the public service. Misau said, "When the person left, he left as assistant director; but when he was coming back, he was given the position of a director, not even a deputy director. And this person who is on the wanted list, when he came back, people saw policemen attached to him. "I don't understand why a government that is always talking about fighting corruption and the same people who are close to the President are covering people who are highly corrupt in the society." The lawmaker recalled that the 7th Senate investigated Maina and he was declared wanted. "I think in a government where we are preaching that the right thing be done, it is a big embarrassment for this government. We need the Senate to investigate this matter and find out how this person came back, how security men were attached to him and did not arrest him. "I think it is unfortunate. For me, it is only the President who is talking about anti-corruption; people surrounding Mr. President are the ones giving cover and shelter to corrupt individuals." Senators took turns to condemn the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN). The Senate Chief Whip, Olusola Adeyeye, said, "Those charges (against Maina) remain unanswered but tragically, not only did he return, he returned to an elevated position. It is an insult to all the civil servants who were doing their jobs diligently during those years Maina ran away." Adeyeye, who is a member of the ruling APC, described the development as "a sad moment." He said, "We cannot be saying we want to fight corruption and then we allow this kind of 'the more you look, the less you see. "What is sure is that certain people in the Executive are determined to make this President fail. Every member of my party and every patriot who is here must ensure this President does not fail. Whoever is responsible for this terrible decision must account for it." Adeyeye recalled the Maina issue was extensively debated in the 7th Senate, saying, "It got to an extent that the then Senate President, Senator David Mark, actually gave the then President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the option to choose between loyalty to Maina and respect for the Constitution and the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. "It got too bad because at that time we were alarmed that a (Grade) Level 14 officer had more than 25 policemen guarding him day and night. It got so bad that every time the then President travelled, a Level 14 officer was always in the front roll even though he had nothing to do with any area that had to do with protocol." What is it about this man Maina, that PDP government protected him and APC is now doing same? culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |
Why my relationship with Rita Dominic crashed- Jim Iyke opens up | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 25 Oct 2017 12:27 AM PDT Who knew Jim Iyke and Rita Dominic were once a couple ? In a new interview with Broadway TV,Jim Iyke opened up on why their relationship didn't lead to marriage. He said Rita and I met when I was just beginning to embrace fame ,the comforts that came with it.The laurels and the distraction, even the destruction. And Rita is not the kind of woman that hangs around a groth. We were very deep with eachother. We still are great friends. As a matter of fact,it may surprise you thar we haven't spoken to each other in over two years. But when we meet,we are cordial ,respectful . Attributing one of the reaons the relationship crashed to his wild behaviour and bad boy antics back then,he continued But then, what was there to hold on to?I mean, seriously ?I was partying like a crazy person. She tried to show me another life and say listen 'there is so much more to you " I promise you that Rita will not hang around with a lay about .I was uncontrollable. I think we have outgrown each other now .I would not see Rita as son one I wantto get involved with because so much layers of growth and evolvement have gone on in her life and so is mine .So place the same place and situation now,it may have worked . culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |
Posted: 25 Oct 2017 12:05 AM PDT I was recently a part of a women's conference (She Will Conference), and one of my fellow sisters in Christ spoke on a lot of "P" words. It was truly awesome! And I say that to say, that even though this was not intended, I can't help but have a bunch of "P" words coming out of me as I prepare to write this week's blog post! LOL! So as you read this write-up, I can't help but talk about the process of prayer, patience, persistence, and perseverance, as you take the necessary steps toward walking in your purpose successfully. Personally, I know all about this, because I went through these steps and I'm still walking out a lot of them as I currently walk in my purpose. So I hope this piece helps you, because it's definitely tried and true! Now, let's proceed… Prayer – For starters, prayer will be essential before you step into your purpose. Reason being is because as you spend time in God's presence, talking and listening to Him, that's where He can reveal what it is that He wants to do in your life and for the season you're in and moving toward. So talk to Him. Ask questions. And listen for His leading. First John 5:14-15 says, "And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him (according to his will –KJV). And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for." (NLT) Also, I want to say that if you don't know your purpose yet, again, pray and ask. And in due time, I believe that He will reveal it to you. But if you do know your purpose, then understand that it will be a step by step process of prayer and movement. However, in most cases, before you step into your purpose, it will take patience for it all to come together and come into fruition. Patience – Before you step into your purpose it will take patience. Patience in spiritual growth, patience in experience and trials, patience in moving in God's perfect timing, and patience in waiting for His clear direction for each step forward. This is usually NOT an easy process, because we typically want it all NOW! We are truly a microwave generation. But God doesn't work that way. Often times, He takes His time. He's not in a rush. And as His daughters, we shouldn't be either. God is working and when it's time to do what He has predestined you to do, it will be perfect and you will be completely ready to move to do His good work and finish the assignments that He gives to you. Philippians 1:6 says, "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." (NLT) He's got you all the way covered, sis! So be patient, because He will bring it all to pass. Persistence – Now, as you begin to move forward into God's perfect timing to walk in your purpose, it will take persistence to get the job done! In other words, when you're tired, you'll need to find the endurance and when you get stuck and don't know what to do, you'll need to pray and ask for wisdom. The Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and strengthen you. Just follow His divine provision and follow His lead step by step. Just don't give up in the process. God has called you for such a time as this…so trust Him to guide you to get what He wants done through you. Stay persistent and do what 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, "So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immoveable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." (NLT) Perseverance – Press! Endure unto the end. Don't stop! Complete the assignments that God gives you, sis. It will not always be easy to do what God is requiring of you. Some assignments will be easier than others. On the flip side, some assignments will be harder than others. Either way, with God nothing is impossible (see Matthew 19:26). Second Thessalonians 3:13 encourages, "…dear brothers and sisters never get tired of doing good." Where are you as it relates to steps toward your purpose, sis? Are you there yet? Are you walking in it? How's it going either way? Are you praying, patient when God calls you to be patient, persistent under trial or hardship, and persevering no matter what? Another "P" I might add is preparation. Walking in your purpose takes preparation. Are you preparing yourself in every way to walk in it successfully? As I prepare to close this post, I have to say that walking in your purpose can look like a lot of different things. It can look like divine assignments or a specific calling. But it can also be roles that you play in life. Meaning, if you are a mother, that's purpose. If you're a wife, that's purpose. If you're a single or married woman doing amazing things in work and ministry, that's purpose. If you're a boss or leader, that's purpose. If you're a volunteer, that's purpose. The point here is that whatever God's purpose or will is for your life, the key to success is following Him step by step in every way.
