Recall a few days back, photo of the pair popped up on social media with claims they just got married. Both denied it however and Juliet has again spoken about the rumor. Speaking with Sunday Scoop she said; "I did not get married and like I explained, that picture was taken on the set of a project we're working on. I don't know who leaked it. If we want to do something like that; trust me, we wouldn't hide it." On if they have plans of tying the knot; "I really don't want to say anything further about this. If I want to take any major decision, I will surely let my loved ones know about it." culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |

Sexual harassment claim is a just cheap blackmail - Yomi Fabiyi | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 26 Nov 2017 03:48 AM PST Actor Yomi Fabiyi, a few weeks back was accused of sexually harassing a young lady for a movie role. The actor took to social media to slam the claims adding that he would be pressing charges and even reported the case to the police. The lady in turn took her case before the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and the ministry subsequently invited Fabiyi to its office but the actor refused to honour the invitation. Speaking with Sunday Scoop on why he did not honor the invitation, Yomi said "It is simple for anybody to know the direction that will go. I instituted a petition against her, which is before the Commissioner of Police, and because I made the move known, she ran to the ministry with an allegation of threat to her life, owing to the fact that I promised a N20,000 bounty for whoever could supply her address, as the only thing I know about her is her Instagram handle. How would I describe her location to aid the police's investigation? How will my lawyer serve her if I file a suit against her? I know clearly that the ministry will want to mediate and possibly make peace between us, and at the end of the day, my reputation would still be dented by such an allegation. "I was also on set when the invitation came and I felt the mediation was too early. It is not because I am stubborn or don't like peace, the only place I can have it on record that I don't know her is at the police station. The ministry would want to be indifferent. And if she had gone to them before she went public, I would have gone to the office to clear my name; but not now that the matter is already before the police. "I have no reason to run as I only asked for the meeting to be rescheduled. For the records, I was not invited based on her allegation of sexual harassment, but because I placed a bounty on her which purportedly puts her life at risk. I think she has been getting quack legal advice. I didn't call, visit, text or contact her in anyway. I am too refined for such." Fabiyi added, "I recently released a movie, Agbede Meji, and it has been trending with 150,000 views in one week. The reviews have also been overwhelming, and some people are of the opinion that I should take the movie to cinemas. However, some bad people just want to drop me off that ladder for nothing. I am always working hard, and I believe that when it is the right time, my advancement will come. I'm still in shock because career wise, I should be attending to something more lucrative than this cheap blackmail from a total stranger." culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |

9 Strong Prayers You Can Pray For Your Blessings To Flow Posted: 26 Nov 2017 02:09 AM PST God's Word contains many promises, and those promises reveal His will for us. When we agree with His Word and pray those promises back to Him, we will see more radical blessings than we've ever imagined. God's Word is true, so pray it aggressively! He longs to hear your prayers and longs to answer them. So often, we miss out on rich spiritual blessings because we simply do not ask. Asking for rich blessings may not feel natural to us at first, but the more we spend time in the Word and praying through Scripture, the more natural it will become to pray for the rich blessings that we find throughout all of God's Word. Are you hungry to experience the radical blessings that Father God promises us in His Word? Begin praying into these 10 Bible promises and ask God to move powerfully in your life! 1. Pray for God to deliver you and honor you. Psalm 91:15 says, "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him." Psalm 91 contains promise after promise for safety, protection, immunity to the enemy's attack, and radical blessing. However, Psalm 91:15 is a particular favorite of mine. Why? Because people who are in trouble — even through no fault of their own — often experience shame and dishonor. Nevertheless, if you're in trouble today, God promises not only to be with you, but also: - To deliver you from your trouble; - To wipe the shame and dishonor off your life; and - To honor you. God will heal you from the havoc the enemy tries to wreak in your life. It may not happen as you think it will, or on your timeline, but he promises healing for us. And after He does, He'll elevate you higher than ever with His honor. So pray this promise back to the Lord today! 2. Ask God to send you His angel with a flaming sword! In Genesis 3:22-24, God stationed an angel and a flaming sword at the entrance to the Garden of Eden. He did this to keep Adam and Eve from going back in and eating from the tree of life, which would have preserved them forever in their fallen, sinful state. Putting a guard in front of the Garden may have seemed harsh, but He did it for their own good. Have you ever wished you could have such an angel standing between you and every wrong thing—just to keep you from going down the wrong path? I have! So, awhile back, I began to pray for that very thing, both for myself and for others. My prayer went something like this: "Lord, please send an angel with a flaming sword to guard me and keep me from going down any path that is not from You!" After I began praying that simple prayer, I noticed that it was easier to make good decisions. I also saw God turn other people around who had been headed down the wrong path. I believe He answered my prayer! So if you need that extra help, ask the Lord to send an angel with a flaming sword to stand in your path to keep you from going down any wrong way! 3. Ask the Lord to give you creative ideas and witty inventions! As the original Creator, God is full of bright ideas — and He'd love to share them with you! In Proverbs 8:12, He tells us: "I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions." Since God wants us to have wisdom, it follows that He wants us to experience all the benefits of that wisdom — including creative ideas and witty inventions. You never know; you could become the creator of some new invention that will change the globe, much the same way that the cotton gin, the steam engine, and the invention of steel changed the world in their times. Wisdom is from the Lord, so ask Him for all the benefits of that wisdom — including wild ideas and witty inventions! 4. Pray for the same gifting the tribe of Issachar had in the Bible! In the Bible, the tribe of Issachar had a special gift from the Lord: they understood the times and seasons, and they knew what Israel ought to do at any given time. First Chronicles 12:32 says, "of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command." Can you imagine what would happen if all of God's people always knew the right thing to do — and if the world followed God's people because of their wisdom? What an impact we could have for the Kingdom! Well, it's not a pipe dream. God is no respecter of persons. What He'll do for one person, He'll do for another. That means, if He'll give one person or group the ability to understand times and seasons, He'll do the same for you. So, ask Him for the same gifting He gave the children of Issachar, and then watch to see how He answers! 5. Ask Him to open divine rivers for you in desolate heights. Do you feel dry and lonely on the inside, even if everything on the outside of your life looks great? If so, Father God has help in store for you! Isaiah 41:17-18 says: "The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water." In this passage, our Heavenly Father promises to turn all our dry and lonely places into rivers of blessing and intimacy with Himself — even if, outwardly, you look like you're living in those beautiful mountain heights. No matter where you are, rest assured that the Lord knows how you are really doing on the inside. So don't be afraid to ask Him to help you, even if you already have a lot for which to be thankful! He's always ready to open His rivers for you, even in those desolate heights. 6. Pray to hear and respond to Jesus as He woos you, His bride! In Song of Solomon 2:10-14, we see Jesus calling us to Himself with many beautiful words. For example, He says: "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away …"In the story of Solomon and his bride, the bride eventually gets up to meet with the king. But is it always like that between us and Jesus? How many times have we heard Jesus calling us — only to deny His call, ignore Him, or tell Him "later, Lord"? The highest blessing we could ever receive from God is simply the gift of His companionship — of intimacy with Him. Every lesser blessing comes after we seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). Do you want the most radical of all blessings — that of intimacy with Christ? If so, ask the Lord to make you sensitive to His voice and His wooing. Ask Him to help you come away with Him every time He calls you. No blessing could be greater than that one-on-one time with Jesus, the lover of your soul. 7. Ask the Lord to enlarge your heart! Psalm 119:32 says, "I will run the course of Your commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart." When I read this verse, I think of Secretariat, the great American racehorse who won the Triple Crown in 1973. After Secretariat died, veterinarians determined that his heart was approximately 2.5 times the size of a normal horse's heart. He was able to run — and win — because the Creator had given him an enlarged heart! Do you want to fight the good fight and finish the race of your life in victory? If so, ask the Lord to enlarge your heart! This doesn't necessarily mean that your heart will physically get bigger, but it does mean He will increase your capacity to run with Him. When the Lord enlarges your heart, you will be able to win by finishing His upward call in Christ Jesus. 8. Ask Him to turn all your tears into joy. If you've cried your share of tears, the Lord has a promise for you. Psalm 126:5-6 says: "Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." Did you notice the words "shall" and "doubtless" in that passage? Those words carry certainty. If you have sown in tears, you WILL reap in joy. The Lord will turn all your sorrows and tears into joy. His Word says He will work all things for your good if you love Him. Don't take such a big promise lightly. Pray into it! Remind the Lord of all your tears, and that you have met His requirements in Psalm 126. Then ask Him to turn all your tears into joy! He will hear your prayer. And when He turns your captivity into freedom, you will have such joy that it will feel like a dream come true (Psalm 126:1). 9. Pray that Father would load you with His benefits every day! In Psalm 68:19, David wrote, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah." I discovered that promise recently and was so moved by it that I wanted to keep it in my mind always! So, I purchased a visual reminder: a package of five children's toys — tiny yellow dump trucks, front-end loaders, and bulldozers. I felt that looking at these replicas of man-made machines would build my faith! And sure enough, it did. I kept the little model loaders near where I pray each day, and I began to pray something like this: "Lord, this dozer can move a lot of stuff, but You are so much more powerful! Your Word says that eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things You have prepared for me! And Your Word says that You will daily load me with benefits! So thank You, Father, for everything You've already done … and I ask You, please don't stop! Please continue to load me down with benefits today, even more than I could ever ask or think. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus' name!" When I started praying that way, it built my faith … and God responded. I began to see even more blessings than usual. Why? Because I believed His Word that He daily loads us with benefits! Do you want to see more of the Father's blessings in your life? Remind Him of this promise, and ask Him to load you down with His benefits today and every day going forward! [written by Jamie Rohrbaugh] culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |
Ikoyi Whistle-Blower Rejects N325m From FG... lawyer asking for N860m Posted: 26 Nov 2017 01:39 AM PST Yakubu Galadima, the lawyer for the whistle-blower, who informed the EFCC of the $43m, N23.2m and £27,800 (N13bn) recovered from an Ikoyi apartment, says his client will not accept anything below five per cent commission. Galadima said this during a chat with Punch on Saturday. The Secretary of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, at an event on Thursday titled, 'Tracking Noxious Funds', which was organised by Kent University Law School and Human and Environmental Development Agency, had explained that any whistle-blower, who helped the government to recover anything above N1bn would receive less than 5%. Owasanoye, who was part of the team that drafted the whistle-blower policy had said, "If you blow the whistle and the government recovers cash, you are entitled to between 2.5 and 5 percent. The maximum limit is five per cent. "According to the policy, if you blow the whistle and it is below N500m, you get four to five per cent because the higher the amount that is recovered, the lower the percentage that is given. This is the global best practice. "If the recovery is between N500m and N1bn, you get three to four percent (commission). If it is N1bn and above, it is 2.5 per cent. Indeed, there is a clause that we included in the policy to say that the government may determine the amount to be awarded based on other criteria provided that the amount to be awarded doesn't exceed five percent. In other words, the government may actually pay less than 2.5 percent but nobody can be paid more than five per cent." However, the whistle-blower's lawyer said his client would not accept anything less than 5 per cent. When asked if his client would accept anything less than five per cent, he said, "Not at all." Galadima had stated last week that the commission his client was expecting from Federal Government was N860m and not N325m. He had also stated that the commission should be paid based on the exchange rate at the time the money was recovered and not the current one. Attempts to get comments from Ministry of Finance were not successful as calls and a text message sent to the Director of Information in the ministry, Mr. Salisu Dambatta, were not responded to. Beneficiary to be paid before Thursday, says ministry official Meanwhile, there are indications that the Ministry of Finance is awaiting the final clearance from the EFCC before it can pay the Ikoyi whistleblower. Officials in the ministry confided in Punch that the whistle-blower was expected to be paid before the end of this month. However, it was gathered that while the ministry was ready to make the payment, the move could be delayed as administrative work was still ongoing on the issue. The official said the ministry had put in place detailed procedures for processing payments under the whistle-blower policy. These procedures, according to the official, were designed to prevent abuse, legal disputes and to ensure protection of the information providers. He stated that the identity of the information provider must be verified, adding that there would be calculation of the amount payable and computation of relevant taxes. culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |
Human Robotic School Built In Ukraine By A Nigeria Pastor & Others Posted: 26 Nov 2017 01:04 AM PST As shared by Aroms Aigbehi... Don’t punish me, just hand me over to God -Suspected ritualist begs again | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 26 Nov 2017 12:28 AM PST A man, Olayinka Abass Akeem, 32, allegedly arrested with seven fresh human skulls along Ajase-Ipo Road, Kwara State by the police, has confessed that he is a ritualist According to him, he exhumed the skulls from a cemetery for money ritual. Police sources said Akeem had been trailed from the Muslim Cemetery in Igbo-Owu, near Ajase-Ipo where he had gone to exhume the skulls after the police had been alerted by a passersby. He was later arrested in a vehicle he boarded to meet a friend he simply identified as Tunde,a.k.a Bante, who was expected to deliver the skulls to a herbalist for money ritual. The suspect told Sunday Vanguard at the headquarters of Kwara State Police Command where he was being held last week that he was desperate to be rich because he came from a poor background. "I came from a very poor family. At 32, I am still poor because I am unemployed. To feed myself and my parents has been very difficult for us. That was my situation when recently I ran into an old friend,Tunde, who convinced me that money ritual was the surest way to be rich", Akeem said. According to him,Tunde told him that money ritual was what everyone living comfortable was doing to escape economic recession. When asked how he felt and the boldness he had when exhuming the human skulls from the graves, he said , "I didn't feel anyhow. The desperation to become rich was all over me since I thought that was the only thing i needed to do to become rich" The suspect, however, urged the police to hand him over to God for divine punishment because that is what he would do if anyone had exhumed the corpse of his parents or relations for ritual purpose. Olayinka nevertheless expressed remorse particularly when his parents visited him in police cell. culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |

Tinubu Is Nigeria’s Greatest Politician Alive – Obanikoro Posted: 26 Nov 2017 12:19 AM PST A former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, has described the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as Nigeria's greatest politicians alive. Obanikoro said this on Saturday in Lagos while formally announcing his defection from PDP to APC. In his speech, 'The Exigency of Time and the Dynamism of Politics', the former PDP chieftain said defecting to the APC was a homecoming for him. "To me and to all my associates, it is a return to our natural habitat. This (APC) is my home. My political voyage started from this association and I am proud to have learnt under our great leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The late Chief Obafemi Awolowo is the greatest politician of all time and I make bold to say the greatest politician of our time is Tinubu. "At this stage of my life, it is important for me to return to my original base and be part of the giant strides being achieved in Lagos State which would not have been possible without the sagacity of the architect of our modern democracy – my indefatigable boss, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu," Obanikoro said. Speaking on why he joined the APC, he said, "I am already fulfilled. I have traversed the length and breadth of this country and I believe that Lagos stands tall among other states in Nigeria. Today, we are the fifth largest economy in Africa and Governor (Akinwunmi) Ambode is working assiduously to make Lagos the third largest economy and transit from a megacity to a smart city. What To Do When You Fall Out of Love With Your Spouse Posted: 25 Nov 2017 11:34 PM PST "Is this really my life?" the young bride said through tears. Theresa couldn't believe she found herself "falling out of love" with the man she had vowed to love forever — only 18 months previous. Theresa composed herself and told me the story of the whirlwind romance that led up to her marriage. As she shared with me how she and her husband met, I saw a sparkle in her eye and a gentle smile across her lips. When she talked about the long walks she and her fiancé would take on the beach, holding hands and dreaming about how happy they would be as husband and wife, another tear trickled down her cheek. What had happened? Theresa couldn't point to any particular event that had caused her feelings for her husband to change. It had all happened gradually. "Life just got in the way," was how she put it. What's the Key to Staying in Love? Theresa's story is not uncommon. Many couples find themselves in trouble when they wrongly make the tasks of everyday living their priority — rather than nurturing their love for one another. So how can you cultivate a loving relationship with your husband that will stand the test of time? The first insight into building a love that lasts is to take your focus off of how much you want to be loved by your husband. If you become obsessed with your longing to feel loved, you will become more preoccupied with self-satisfaction than with building a happy relationship. And this, in turn, will undermine the health of your marriage. You may be surprised to learn the secret to loving your husband well lies in learning to love God deeply. Because when your love for the Lord is genuine, He gives you His supernatural ability to love others selflessly — including your husband. The marriages I most want to emulate are those of husbands and wives who have learned to love God so much that their passion for one another is almost supernatural. Don't you want a marriage like that? So how can you learn to love God so deeply that it spills over into your marriage? Jesus said the greatest priority of life is to "love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30). Let's take a closer look at Jesus' words, shall we? Notice how He said you are to love God: with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, all your strength. It's an all-out love. It holds nothing back. And it involves every part of your being — your emotions, your inner self, and your thoughts. This kind of love seeks to grow closer to God and know Him intimately. That's how you fall more and more in love with someone — by getting to know them. Growing more deeply in love with the Lord means spending time with Him. But first, for this to happen, you must have a relationship with God through Christ. If you have received Christ as your Savior and Lord, then you are a child of God and you have a relationship with Him. If you haven't taken this step or you aren't sure whether you have, then I would encourage you to contact me through my website NoRegretsWoman.com so I can send you an article I've written called: "How to Have a Relationship with Jesus." This article is also found in the appendix of all of my books. Getting back to loving God — here are specific steps you can take to grow in that love: I can say with confidence that pursuing intimacy with God transformed my marriage, and I am confident that it can transform yours as well. That's because when your love for God is right, He will help you love your husband the way your heart longs to love him, and you will build a marriage with no regrets. Ikoyi whistle-blower rejects FG’s N325m, EFCC delays payment | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 25 Nov 2017 10:48 PM PST Yakubu Galadima, the lawyer for the whistle-blower, who informed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of the $43m, N23.2m and £27,800 (N13bn) recovered from an Ikoyi apartment, says his client will not accept anything below five per cent commission. Galadima said this during a chat with a PUNCH correspondent on Saturday. The Secretary of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, explained that any whistle-blower, who helped the government to recover anything above N1bn would receive less than five per cent commission. Owasanoye, who was part of the team that drafted the whistle-blower policy had said, "If you blow the whistle and the government recovers cash, you are entitled to between 2.5 per cent and five per cent. The maximum limit is five per cent."According to the policy, if you blow the whistle and it is below N500m, you get four to five per cent because the higher the amount that is recovered, the lower the percentage that is given. This is the global best practice. "If the recovery is between N500m and N1bn, you get three to four per cent (commission). If it is N1bn and above, it is 2.5 per cent. Indeed, there is a clause that we included in the policy to say that the government may determine the amount to be awarded based on other criteria provided that the amount to be awarded doesn't exceed five per cent. In other words, the government may actually pay less than 2.5 per cent but nobody can be paid more than five per cent."However, the Ikoyi whistle-blower's lawyer told SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday that his client would not accept anything less than five per cent. When asked if his client would accept anything less than five per cent, he said, "Not at all." Galadima had stated last week that the commission his client was expecting from the Federal Government was N860m and not N325m. He had also stated that the commission should be paid based on the exchange rate at the time the money was recovered and not the current one. Attempts to get comments from the Ministry of Finance were not successful as calls and a text message sent to the Director of Information in the ministry, Mr. Salisu Dambatta, were not responded to. Meanwhile, there are indications that the Ministry of Finance is awaiting the final clearance from the EFCC before it can pay the Ikoyi whistleblower. Officials in the ministry confided in one of our correspondents that the whistle-blower was expected to be paid before the end of this month. The source stated, "The ministry of finance is not directly involved in the recovery of looted fund; that is the responsibility of the various security agencies. culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |
This is when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ''announcing their engagement' | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 25 Nov 2017 10:48 PM PST There were absolute scenes on Friday when word got out that the BBC had been "primed for a royal announcement '' about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement. And now it's been reported that employees were indeed informed of an engagement, and got given details about the actual wedding too. According to the Daily Star , staff from Buckingham and Kensington Palaces were called to a meeting on Friday afternoon, where, in front of the Queen, they were told that Harry and Meghan are engaged and that they'll be having a "non-traditional wedding." "Her Majesty said Harry hasn't got the same responsibility as William which I know Harry is very happy with," a source told the paper of their desire to shun a big state affair. However, the insider said it was also confirmed that the engagement won't be announced until next week at the earliest, and that it could actually happen AFTER Christmas. "They are engaged but they are trying to sort a few things out now, like house hunting for a retreat and other things," added the insider. A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace has responded to the mounting engagement chatter, insisting to Hello! magazine that they will "not give a running commentary on Harry's love life". However, Meghan is believed to have touched down in London earlier this week, and has even shipped her dogs over ready for her new life as a royal. But it seems she is certain she and Harry will marry soon - meaning she'll no longer be able to continue acting. "Meghan knows she can't really act at the same time as being a princess and is happy to make this career sacrifice," a source told the Daily Star. culled from MPNB Mr Olumide's Blog |

Femi Falana slams AGF Malami: "I Didn't Buy Any Property In Maitama From EFCC" Posted: 25 Nov 2017 10:04 PM PST Following allegations leveled against him, human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has denied ever buying any property in Maitama, Abuja, from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Recall that the Attorney-General of the federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami was reported to have said the property worth N1billion was sold to "a Lagos lawyer". The property said to have been recovered by the presidential task force on pension reform, was linked to Abdulrasheed Maina, who is currently wanted by the EFCC. In a statement on Saturday, he said he never bought any property from the EFCC. He added that the house in question was one of the assets used to collateralize a loan obtained from Bank PHB by A Group Properties "over 10 years ago". "Hence, I have decided to join issues with Malami over his false claim that the EFCC had sold the property in question to me. Contrary to Malami's claim I never bought any property from the EFCC." "He (Malami) would also have found that the property is a subject matter of a suit which is currently pending before the federal high court sitting at Abuja. (See Suit No /2015 between Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria v A Group Properties Limited). "The suit was instituted by AMCON due to the failure of the company to liquidate the loan. In granting the ex parte application filed by AMCON in the matter the court ordered an interim forfeiture of the assets of A Group Properties Limited including No 42, Gana Street, Maitama District, Abuja. The said order was granted on November 11, 2015. "However, in a bid to pay the loan, A Group Properties Limited decided to sell some of the properties. The sale of the property in question to me was made subject to the setting aside of the order of interim forfeiture which had been obtained by AMCON. "Up till now, the case has not been concluded as the parties have asked for time to resolve the dispute amicably and file terms of settlement. To that extent, the transaction on the property remains inchoate." "Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, Maina's allegation that the management of the EFCC sold the property at No 42, Gana Street, Maitama District, Abuja or any property to me is a figment of his fecund imagination for mischief." culled from Olu famous Mr Olumide's Blog |
