'You will regret calling me a nobody' – Hushpuppi's Babymama

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 04:10 AM PDT

Looks like these are not best of times for Instagram celebrity, Hushpuppi; from fighting with friends and now the mother of his son, all in less than two weeks. Guy needs to calm down.

His babymama, Miss Sho, claimed he called her a 'nobody'. Read her rants below:

"This was sent to me and as you can see Hushpuppi has said iv given him a son in 2013 and has mentioned our son's name on his snapchat. He has refused to meet his son and have a relationship with his him. My husband and I have not stopped Hushpuppi from being a father but up till now he has not seen his son and does not contribute to his son's upkeep.

It sickens me as the mother of his child to see how he spends on fashion #Gucci #versace and never on his son. Just because im married does not mean the biological father should not take care of his responsibilities, especially when we have kept the door open for him to be apart of his son's life.

Hushpuppi you called me a nobody yesterday on the phone for speaking the truth. You will regret that statement. As for Mompha you didnt need to send our private conversation and involve us in your beef. I saw you as his friend, who i thought you could talk sense to him to be a Dad to his son. If I wanted social media to know Hushpuppi does not provide for his son, I would have put it up years ago. You could have at least hidden my snap ID and not have put our son picture up.

To all the single mothers with a deadbeat dad there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just as God blessed me with a wonderful husband he can do the same for you."

Meet 2Face Mother As He Celebrates Her Birthday Today

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 04:10 AM PDT

Nigeria music star 2face Idibia has released a lovely clip to celebrate his mum whose birthday is today. His mum, Mrs. Rosemary Idibia, tells a bit about her son. Her words below:

Mrs. Rosemary Idibia said, "He (Innocent 2face Idibia) was born around 5.30am on the September 18 at OLA hospital in Jos. We did not take note of any special occurrences when he was born except jubilation in the family and congratulations from friends and well-wishers.

The family moved to Makurdi in 1976 after the creation of Benue State from Plateau. His inclination towards music was shown at an early age of five; he would mimic songs from TV and Radio. We hoped he would pursue one of these high sounding professions like law, medicine, banking and so on."
To ensure that this dream of getting a white collar job is kept, 2Face was enrolled at St. Gabriela Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State. He eventually got admitted to The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management, where he eventually dropped out from. It might seem that the dreams of his mother being a Doctor's Mum was shattered, but all hopes were not lost.

2face who knew what he wanted and went for it, persevered till he arrived at the point where he needs not to introduce himself.

Jobless Nigerian First Class Graduate Begs For Job On Twitter | Mr Olumide's Blog

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 03:39 AM PDT

A first class Nigerian graduate took to Twitter to openly beg people to help her get a job.
Odufuwa Sola, 22, from Ogun State, has remained jobless since she graduated in 2015 from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State.

She was also the best graduating student in the university for that year with a 4.83 G.P.A. She had the honour of delivering a valedictory speech in the school.

So far, nobody has asked her to come over for a job interview.
Ms. Sola told PREMIUM TIMES she was inspired to resort to Twitter for help having seen other people with similar situation get help through the social media.
Ms. Sola said she has applied for employment at the Ajayi Crowther University, but that she was yet to get a reply from the school.
She has also submitted applications to several companies and organisations within the country.
"Most jobs I apply for are graduate trainee slots that are science-related," Ms. Sola said, adding that she was not feeling sad at all that she has not been able to get a job.
"I know the situation of the country, though I didn't expect it to take so long," she said. "But I trust God."
Also, she does not regret studying physics. She said she would do it again and again if she were to start her university education all over. "Physics is fun," she said.
Ms. Sola's dream is to work someday as a renewable energy analyst, she told PREMIUM TIMES.

Meanwhile, she has started learning tailoring at Ijebu-ode, Ogun State, where she resides, while waiting and hoping to be called up for a job interview soon.
"My family has been supportive, everyone around me is just wishing me the best and praying I get a job soon," said Ms. Shola who lost her dad in 2015, few months to her graduation ceremony.
"My appeal to Nigerians is to help me get a job of my dream and passion. I know it's not easy out there, but with the help of God, I know something good will happen soonest. Nigerians are good people, it's just the situation we find ourselves in as a country," she said.
When PREMIUM TIMES contacted the spokesperson of the Ajayi Crowther University, Alvan Ewuzie, he said that giving first class graduates instant employment in the university depended on the availability of space in the department where the student graduated from.

Mr. Ewuzie said he was aware that the vice chancellor of the university had offered employment recently to two first class graduates of the school.

The Head of Physics with Electronics department of the school, Christopher Olowokere, told this newspaper that he was aware of Ms. Sola's situation.
"The vice chancellor is interested in hiring first class materials, but for now there is no opening in the school.
"She needs to be patient. She could find a secondary school where she could teach for now," Mr. Olowokere said.
Nigeria's unemployment rate has been on a steady increase in the past few years. It rose to 14.2 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2016, according to a recent data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS.

Notorious syndicate members arrested for selling two babies for over N1m

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 03:10 AM PDT

The police in Imo on Monday paraded 49 suspects, including members of a syndicate that specialised in stealing and selling children.

The Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, said the gang members operated in Imo and Enugu states and had committed many atrocities.

According to him, Obinna Eze, Oluchi Chibuike,Vitalis Lumanze, Nkiru Nwanedu, Chinyere Nwudu and one Jacinta, were rounded up by the police for allegedly kidnapping and selling a five-year-old boy, Francis Nwachukwu; and his two-year-old sibling, Chinaza Nwachukwu, for N1.1m.

The CP said, "On August 29, 2017, Oluchi Chibuike, the cousin of one Abigail Uka, came to Uzoagba, in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, in company with one Obinna Eze, who Oluchi Chibuike said was her intended husband.

"Their mission was to take Abigail and her two children – Francis Nwachukwu and Chimazaekpere Nwachukwu – to visit Obinna's house at Afara, in the Mbaitoli LGA."

Ezike stated that Eze took Uka and her two children on his motorcycle at about 12pm to his residence.

He said unknown to the victim, Eze and Oluchi had concluded plans to attack her and take away her children.

The CP disclosed that in order for the two prime suspects to achieve their plan, they allegedly hired the services of one Vitalis Lumanze and Chinatu, who they paid N160,000 to attack her on their way back to Uzoagba in the Ikeduru LGA .

"At about 7pm of the same day, along Amankuta Mbieri, a lonely bush path, the two hired men attacked the victim and dumped her inside the bush, thinking that she had died.

"Obinna and Oluchi took the two children back to Obinna's house," he added.

According to the police boss, in the morning of August 30, 2017, Oluchi and Obinna allegedly took the two children to Enugu State and sold them to one Nkiru Nwanedu for N1.1m.

"Nkiru Nwanedu, 45, resold the kids to one Jacinta Amadi of Egede in the Udi LGA of Enugu State."

Ezike said the only fleeing member of the gang, identified as Chinatu, would soon be arrested.

Obinna said that he promised the mother of the children marriage to deceive her.

Of the N88bn, the sum of N50bn is for the compensation of the victims.

N38bn is for the purpose of the destruction of landmines and rebuilding of public buildings affected by the war, which took place between 1967 and 1970, mainly in the South-East geopolitical zone and some parts of the South-South and the North-Central geopolitical zones.

About 493 victims of the war were said to have been enumerated.

The affected states are the five states in the South-East – Imo, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi and Enugu; four states in the South-South – Akwa-Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Cross River; and Benue State in the North-Central.

This agreement was part of the resolution reached by the Federal Government and other parties in a suit filed on behalf of the victims and adopted on Monday by the Community Court of the Economic Community of West African States in Abuja as its judgment.

RCCG pastor Agu Iruku under fire for asking for £2,000 sacrificial offering | Mr Olumide's Blog

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 02:09 AM PDT

Redeemed Christian Church of God Jesus House London Parish Pastor, Agu Irukwu, is coming under attack by some members of his congregation for requesting them give a sacrificial offering.

According to reports, the Pastor started by requesting for members willing to give £2,000 to come forward, after which he requested that those with £1, 000 come forward. He eventually proceeded to say that anybody giving an offering of less than £250 will not be called forward as he doesn't want to embarrass them due to the supposedly small amount. .

According to Ono Bello, members of his congregation were mortified at his requests as there are personal stories of people struggling financially, with visa applications, to get on the property ladder and gain profitable employment and have not received any support from the church.

The Pastor, who was chosen in 2011 as "Britain's Most Inspirational Black Person", allegedly pays himself and other senior Pastors in the church a six-figure salary in Pounds. .

New SGF is Babachir Lawal’s cousin; says Junaid Mohammed

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 02:05 AM PDT

A member of the House of Reps in the Second Republic, Dr. Junaid Muhammed, has revealed that the newly appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, is a first cousin to the sacked former SGF, Babachir Lawal.

There are strong insinuations that Babachir is very close to President Buhari...

"Before you begin to celebrate the appointment of Boss Mustapha as the new SGF, do you know that he is in fact, Babachir Lawal's first cousin? This is a continuation of the cronyism and nepotism the Buhari-led administration has become infamous for," Muhammed told Punch on Monday.

But as Nigerians lament the failure of the President to direct further actions on the sacked officials, the APC has said Buhari's sacking of the two officials couldn't have come at a better time.

APC's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said, "Few days ago, when the President directed the dismissal of Abdulrasheed Maina, some people said that was right but what about the suspended SGF, BD Lawal? But we as a party said look, the President is the only person who has all the information. All of us can only have one side of the story or the other.

"But the President by the virtue of the position he occupies is the only one who has all the information and he would do what is necessary at the right time, now we have been vindicated and it shows that the President has not in any way waived his commitment not to tolerate corruption at any level no matter who is involved."

What kind of thing is this? A woman who gave her husband poisoned milk ended up killing him and 12 other members of his family when the tainted liquid was turned into a yoghurt drink and served to him and his relatives, police investigations revealed.

The Pakistani woman, who was allegedly forced by her family into an arranged marriage in September, has been arrested and charged with murder along with her alleged lover, senior police official Owais Ahmad told reporters in central Pakistan's Muzaffargarh district on Monday.

13 people have so far died, including the husband, while a further 14 have been hospitalised, he said.

"Police have arrested Asiya Bibi, a man and his aunt for being accomplices and charged them with murder," Ahmad said.

Presidency responds to calls for the prosecution of Babachir Lawal and Amb. Oke | Mr Olumide's Blog

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 01:44 AM PDT

Following the sack of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir David Lawal, and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, NIA, Ambassador Ayo Oke, Nigrians have called for the duo to be investigated.

President Buhari suspended the former SGF on April 19, 2017, over graft and alleged involvement in the N200 million grass-cutting contract of Presidential Initiative in the North East, PINE. The NIA DG was suspended over the discovery of N13 billion in an Ikoyi apartment, said to belong to NIA.

A statement by Presidential spokesperson, Garba Lawal reads

President Buhari is Committed to Rule of Law, Will Not Shield Anyone From Investigation.
Those who ask the question of what next?
The President has taken the administrative action. All other actions will be taken by relevant government agencies.
The position of the President therefore is that investigation agencies which have already commenced the investigation of the two officers removed from office will go on with their work of investigation without any interference or hindrance.
The President who is fully conversant with the provisions of the constitution will not stop the investigation of anyone because he has no such power under our laws. This is a decision of the Supreme Court.
The President under our laws can, through the Attorney General enter a nolle prosequi to stop an on-going trial. He may upon conviction, order a pardon.
Beyond these, the president cannot order investigation agencies to not investigate anyone and does not intend to do in this, or any other circumstance.
Based on his wish and desire for a strict observance of the law, the President expects the EFCC, ICPC and such agencies to proceed with ongoing investigations.
When and where they have reasonable grounds to charge former or serving officers to court under our laws, they do not require the permission of the President to do so.

How Diezani Is Planning To Escape Trial – EFCC

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 01:40 AM PDT

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has urged the Federal High Court in Lagos not to order the return of a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, from the United Kingdom to Nigeria.

EFCC described Diezani's prayer to be brought back to Nigeria as a ploy to escape a big trial.

She is expected to be tried in the UK, where, according to the EFCC, she is being investigated for several financial crimes by the Metropolitan Police.

According to the commission, investigation by the Metropolitan Police in Diezani's case had reached an advanced stage and her prosecution in the UK was imminent.

It, therefore, said it would not be in the interest of justice to grant Diezani's application seeking to return to Nigeria.

The EFCC said this in a counter-affidavit it filed in opposition to Diezani's application before Justice Rilwan Aikawa, wherein she is seeking an order compelling the Attorney General of the Federation to facilitate her return to Nigeria.

In the said application, which she filed through her lawyer, Mr. Onyechi Ikpeazu, Diezani said she wished to appear before the Federal High Court in Lagos to defend a criminal charge bordering on alleged laundering of N450m, where her name was mentioned.

The main defendants in the charge are a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Dele Belgore; and a former Minister of National Planning, Prof. Abubakar Suleiman.

Opposing the application, EFCC, in a counter-affidavit deposed to by an operative, Usman Zakari, said that when it began investigation into the case involving Belgore and Suleiman sometime in 2015, Diezani spurned its invitations to explain her role and rather absconded the UK.

It said subsequent efforts by its operatives to interview her in London were blocked by her lawyer in the UK, John Binns of BCL Solicitors, who contended that Nigerian investigators could not interview her as she was outside Nigeria's jurisdiction.

The EFCC said Diezani's bid to now return to Nigeria was nothing but a ploy to escape justice having realised that her trial might soon begin in the UK.

Justice Aikawa adjourned till Wednesday for ruling.

STRANGE! Carpenter Dismembers His Friend, Reports Self

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 01:40 AM PDT

Residents of Lemomu Kajola Road, Ileshe, Atan area of Ogun State are in shock after a destitute man in the community, Odunlade Adewale, killed and dismembered his friend, Moruf Lawal.

The late Lawal, aka Kaka, had accused the Ondo State indigene of stealing a phone belonging to one of their mutual friend, identified simply as Femi.

Adewale, in anger, allegedly seized a cutlass and hacked Lawal to death. The details are bad...

He reportedly chopped off the 38-year-old's two hands, gorged out his eyes and broke his skull, exposing his brain tissue.

According to Punch, after the attack, Adewale reportedly told some residents of the area that he had just killed Lawal.

Some youths in the community were said to have tied down the suspect before the arrival of policemen from the Atan division.

A community leader, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the incident occurred between 1am and 3am on Monday.

He said, "The three of them are friends – Adewale, Kaka (Lawal) and Femi. While Adewale is a destitute man who is into carpentry work, Kaka was a motorcycle rider; Femi is into generator repairs. They usually drink and smoke together.

"Around 1am, the men went to Atan to drink. As they were returning around 1.30am, they stopped a tricycle rider and started an argument with him. They wanted to extort money from him but the man resisted them. An Islamic cleric, who was praying at the time, saw them and intervened. Everybody then dispersed.

"Some minutes later, Femi discovered that his phone was missing and he went to Kaka's house to challenge him. Kaka denied taking the phone. They both went to where Adewale was sleeping, which was opposite Kaka's house. He does not have any permanent place of abode.

"Kaka had a cutlass in his hand. They had an argument and during a scuffle that followed, Adewale seized the cutlass from Kaka and hacked him to death. He later cut off his head and chopped off his two hands."

Femi was said to have fled the scene on seeing the tragic turn of event.

Adewale, while still armed with the cutlass, was said to have gone to a building opposite the scene of the crime to announce that he had killed Lawal.

Some residents reportedly thought it was a ploy by suspected armed robbers to trick residents out of their homes.

Landlords on the street were said to have called one another, but no one came out.

A resident, who caught the suspect, said Adewale also attacked him with the cutlass.

He said, "I was called around 3am that thieves were on the street. I tiptoed out and heard a man calling people to come out. He said he would kill everybody.

"I stood beside a fence without seeing anyone. Moments later, I saw a man passed by me. I told him to stop. He faced me with a cutlass and we started fighting. My brother also joined us. Although I had injuries, we were able to subdue and tie him.

"Initially, I didn't know he had killed anyone. We were still tying him up when we heard people saying he had killed somebody a few houses away. His cutlass was still dripping with blood."

Residents said that Adewale had no known relative. He was said to be epileptic, a sickness some said accounted for his rejection by his immediate family members.

"Anytime he had a seizure and fell on the ground, nobody would go near him. Whenever we asked for his relatives, he would only say he came from Ondo State. It is possible that his family rejected him after efforts to address the problem failed. His major problem was that anytime he took alcohol, even as little as N100 worth of liquor, he would start misbehaving," a community leader said.

The remains of Lawal had been deposited in a morgue.

The state Police PRO, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident, saying Adewale has been arrested.

Nigerians to Buhari: Sacking Babachir Lawal, Oke not enough, prosecution them now

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 01:40 AM PDT

Prominent Nigerians and civil society groups have demanded the prosecution of the sacked Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, and ex-DG of the National Intelligence Agency, Mr. Ayodele Oke.

President Buhari sacked the public officers on Monday. Before their sack, the President set up a panel headed by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to investigate allegations of some serious financial impropriety levelled against the two.

The panel submitted its findings and recommendations about six months ago but the President despite public criticisms failed to act on the report.

He, however, did on Monday by announcing their disengagement from service reportedly in line with the recommendations made by the panel, whose report has yet to be made public.

Reacting to the President's action on Monday, notable Nigerians and groups said the sack was not enough, demanding more actions against the two.

SANS call for prosecution
Two Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Emeka Ngige and Yusuf Ali, who spoke to one of our correspondents in separate telephone interviews in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, argued that the two should be prosecuted if the Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo-led panel made such a recommendation. They argued that doing so would give the Buhari-led administration's fight against corruption the required boost.

Ali said, "If there is any issue of corruption or criminality, they should be prosecuted."

Speaking in a similar vein, Ngige said, "If the VP's panel recommended that they should be prosecuted, nobody is above the law. If there is a recommendation for prosecution, they should be prosecuted. That is the only way the President can assure the country and the international community that nobody is above the law and it is not business as usual."

Also reacting via the telephone, the Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-Corruption Prof. Itse Sagay, said the sack was long overdue.

He said, "I think there has been a consensus on this, that it was overdue; there has been too much delay. Although I will like to put a caveat that government usually have a lot more information than the rest of us as the delay might have been discretionary due to the information they had. I was patient and I definitely endorse the final decision that has been taken."

Citing examples of corruption cases that were treated with levity by the Buhari administration, the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, said indicted Babachir Lawal and Ayodele Oke and others still in Buhari's government should be handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for investigation and prosecution.

He spoke through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, saying, "Enough of using probe panels to shield people accused of corruption in Buhari's government; rather, they should be arrested, detained and prosecuted by the EFCC as being done to others perceived as the President's enemies."

Similarly, the President of the Ijaw Youth Congress Worldwide, Mr. Perotubo Oweilaemi, said, "I urge Mr. President to go beyond sacking them. They should be prosecuted in a competent court of law."

Impeach President, PDP tells N'Assembly
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party has called on the National Assembly to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari over the way he handled the cases involving the removal of Lawal and Oke.

The party accused the President of double standard.

The spokesperson for the party, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, stated the party's position in a statement in Abuja on Monday.

He said, "The statement on the sacking of Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Ayo Oke, the former Director General of Nigerian Intelligence Agency is a slap on the face of Nigerians.

"It is an insult on the collective intelligence of our people who have waited patiently for the President's reaction on the humongous act of corruption by two of his principal aides and this is totally unacceptable."

Adeyeye said that the party had earlier disagreed with the setting up of the panel headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to look into the corruption allegations against the two government officials.

He said such cases were better handled by either the EFCC or the ICPC.

He said, "First and foremost, we had disagreed with the President last year when he decided to set up the panel headed by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, to investigate the matter because we thought that was the wrong course of action to take.

Social media was also agog with Nigerians calling for the prosecution of the duo.

A Nigeria, by the user name Oracle, stated that, "Sacking is a step in the right direction. The next step is prosecution; anything outside this is not acceptable."

Another commentator, Kalu9909, said it was not enough to terminate their appointments. "He decided to sack them as a result of the public outcry against his administration and the scandal that has rocked him lately. They must be arrested and prosecuted for the heinous offences they committed against Nigeria."

A Punch reader, Evidence, also wrote, "They should be arrested and prosecuted. This belated firing does not cut it."

Another commentator, Real, said,"These two men must face the music for what they did and if they are guilty, they need to be massively punished."

Civil society groups call for more action
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project hailed the President for sacking Lawal and Oke, but urged him to "urgently hand over" the two officials to the EFCC and ICPC for further investigation.

SERAP, in a statement in Lagos, on Monday, signed by its Deputy Director, Timothy Adewale, said, "Buhari also has to move swiftly to publish report of investigation into the secret reinstatement of fugitive former civil servant, Abdulrasheed Maina, and without delay, identify and bring to justice anyone suspected to be involved."

"This government now has a real opportunity to reassure a lot of Nigerians, who may be worried about the direction of travel of the President's anti-corruption agenda that there will be no sacred cow as far as the fight against corruption is concerned."

Two other civil society organisations namely Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership and the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights intensified the call for further action.

The CACOL Director, Debo Adeniran, said, "What is also needful is that those officials who have been relieved of their jobs must be handed over to the relevant agencies for diligent prosecution. We also urge the judiciary to ensure that justice is served and everyone sees it. The anti-corruption war has just been reinvigorated. The agencies and anti-corruption organisations must intensify their activities."

The Human Rights Writers Association, in its response, called for the prosecution of the sacked officials without further delay. The association said only their prosecution after they had been relieved of their appointments would send the right signals. This was contained in a statement signed by its national coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Onwubiko.

The CDHR President, Malachy Ugwummadu, said, "It is not enough that they were removed but they must also be lined up for prosecution."

EFCC, ICPC free to go after them – Presidency
Meanwhile, the Presidency has said the nation's anti-graft agencies are free to go after both men.

Arrest warrant issued for Harvey Weinstein accuser Rose McGowan | Mr Olumide's Blog

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 01:14 AM PDT

An arrest warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance has been issued for actress Rose McGowan, who is one of dozens of women who accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct.

The felony charge stems from a police investigation of personal belongings left behind on a United flight arriving at Washington Dulles International Airport on January 20.

According to Daily Mail, Police say the items tested positive for narcotics, but they did not reveal what type of drugs they were. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the warrant on February 1.
Police say they've attempted to contact McGowan so she can appear in a Loudoun County, Virginia, court.
The warrant has been entered into a national law enforcement database.
McGowan had not released a statement regarding the warrant as of Monday night.

But she simply tweeted 'FACT' early Tuesday morning in a retweet suggesting that if she had 'taken the million dollars in hush money' from Weinstein, the warrant would not have been issued and not been a news story.
Mcgowen who received a $100k settlement from Harvey in 2003 ,claims in a new interview that she was recently offered $1million to sign a non-disclosure contract.

Child model, 14, who worked herself to death in China was paid just £6.30 a day | Mr Olumide's Blog

Posted: 31 Oct 2017 01:14 AM PDT

A top Russian child model who died in China from 'exhaustion' made just £6.30 a day after paying her air fares, hotels and food, it was claimed today.
Vlada Dzyuba, 14, from the industrial city of Perm in Russia, missed school to work on catwalks on a 'three month contract' to realise her dream of becoming a supermodel.

But the teenager died from 'utter exhaustion' and meningitis as she waited for her latest assignment thousands of miles from home in China.

Her parents say they 'cannot afford' to fly her body home and she is expected to be cremated with her ashes returned to her homeland after a month.
Her case raises acute fears over the exploitation of children by the glamour industry

Vlada is reported to have attended a 13-hour jewellery modelling shoot before collapsing after becoming the latest Russian teenage model to travel to China.
According to Daily Mail, in an earlier contract in China, Vlada received just £6.30 a day for her catwalk appearances once her air fares, hotels, food and insurance had been taken from her earnings, reported the Russian media.

The girl was 'scared' to seek hospital treatment because she did not have medical insurance on her latest trip to China, say the media citing her mother.
