He shares his pains and regrets, vowing, however, to unravel the circumstances that led to the crashing of their marriage. He also believes that his wife was used to blackmail him by those who want him dead. It's the most painful part of my life. I cried for 24 hours every day for three to four years. I was just asking myself what is happening to me. You know, in blackmail, you will not know what is going on because somebody is playing the game. It was much later that I knew what was happening to me. I need to know the strength of these blackmailers because we have law in this country. And with the law, we will look at the issues pro-actively.You took a long break from acting, what happened? I tried to restructure the man, Emeka Ike. Emeka Ike is a leader and as a leader, you need to appraise and reappraise your empire and achievements. So, I have been appraising my constituency and I am happy that we are moving forward. At a point, you relocated to Abuja from Lagos. What actually prompted your decision to move to Abuja? I felt that my life was seriously threatened in Lagos. I have said it before that I am going to arrest some people very soon. In fact, some people took advantage of the AGN crisis to threaten my life and all that will be sorted out very soon by the police. I relocated to Abuja to avoid a situation where I would be walking on the streets of Lagos and a criminal would gun me down. I used my discretion to stay away while I watched from afar what was happening in Lagos. That was why that woman (ex wife) is no longer living with me. God knows I am not a wife beater. I didn't touch her and my children testified to that in court. I don't know what came over her and who used her to blackmail me. But all that will be unravelled soon. Are you saying that you never raised your hands on your ex wife? Have you watched that movie, where the wife was saying "everything is alright between me and my husband. He takes care of me and provides all my needs". That was the situation between my wife and I. If I didn't know I would have blamed her sudden change of character on my enemies. I love her so much. Why would she blackmail me by claiming that I was always beating her up when I didn't. To avoid the disturbing mess, I had to abandon my businesses and house in Lagos and find a new life in Abuja. Does it mean you were not prepared for the divorce? I wasn't. I don't even believe we are divorced and I cannot remarry again. I am a real Christian and Christians don't divorce. I told the court that I'm not divorcing my wife but they went ahead and got an injunction against a High Court order. Why was she trying to walk out of her marriage? Who was advising her to divorce me? I must see to the end of this matter because they have put my children out there without a mother. She's in pain wherever she is right now because I know they are dealing with her. I learnt that she was beaten black and blue by one wife snatcher sometime ago, beside Mobil Petrol Station on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. My own wife beaten up like a common criminal! I want to know what has gone wrong with my wife, I want to know the devil that is behind this. What is the extent of blackmail that brought her to this degrading level? The Inspector General of Police will be investigating into the matter very soon. While doing this, I have to stay away from Lagos because they could be after me. You accused Pastor Chris Okotie of Household of God Church International Ministries of being the brain behind your marital crisis. How did he come into the picture? The guy who is confusing my wife attends his church. He's one of the elders of the church. It's a church arrangement. When there is crisis in the family, a true man of God should invite both husband and wife with the aim of resolving their differences but Chris Okotie refused to pick my calls. Whenever I called him on the telephone, he usually avoided my calls. As a man of God, he was supposed to use his position to save our marriage. I didn't chase my wife out of my house, I wanted Chris Okotie to advise her to return to her husband but he refused to pick my calls. He did not bother to find out what went wrong between us. While I am still alive, my wife was demanding that I should 'will' part of my property to her. She shut down a school I spent millions of naira to establish. Who was telling her to make such a demand? Where is she taking the property to? What happens to our children who will inherit my property? She was insisting on getting her own share of my property. At that point, I had to leave Lagos for Abuja because some people were strongly behind her and my life was no longer safe. But I'm coming back to Lagos soon. My house and property are still in Lagos. Nothing is hidden under the earth that cannot be unearthed someday. She blackmailed me for what I am not. You will feel sorry for a man whose wife was blackmailed to blackmail the entire family. Despite the pain she has caused you, you still declare your undying love for her? Love never dies. Real love doesn't die, forget what we are talking about. The Bible says that "love covers multitude of sin." She's the mother of my children. She was nobody when I met her, she never knew her father. I built a house for her family in Lagos and also in Isoko. I trained her up to the master's degree level. I gave her the exposure she needed in life. There are thousands of pretty girls who would want to marry me the first week we got divorced. But I am a gentleman, it is not about marriage for me now, it's about doing the right thing. What is wrong with my woman? If it's something we can redeem her from, we will still redeem her. Forget about marrying her again. I don't need to marry again, but I need to know what was wrong with my wife. I need to know why she started blackmailing me. Can you welcome her back into your life if she returns to you? Accepting her back is not the problem, but let her confess and get herself back. I believe she's under the influence of something. How did you feel watching her walk out of her marriage?  They are not because they feel disappointed in her. She was their heroine. Her son was begging her, saying "mummy please come back because of me." But she replied him; "I am going to marry another man and have other children." If you can say that to your first son, it's either you have a mental problem or you are not okay spiritually. She even said to the judge that she wanted to have other children after having four children. What is wrong with her? Her case beats my imagination. I have been blackmailed, undermined and I have been crushed. She closed down my school on the day I travelled, an investment that a student at St Nicholas was paying N385,000, per session as school fees amounting to N880,000 every year. She went to the landlord and asked him to come and reclaim his property. Who is behind all these things? You cannot be unfair to me and get away with it, not when I'm still alive and seeking justice. I met her on the street and I saved her from the street. She told me she's from a poor home and that she never met her father. I promised her that I would be her father and her lover. | Nigerian Police Reacts To NBS Report: "we are not corrupt" Posted: 19 Aug 2017 12:57 AM PDT  In a statement signed by CSP Jimoh Moshood, the police said; The attention of the Nigeria Police Force has been drawn to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) reports published on the 16th August 2017 captioned "Police officers, judges most corrupt in Nigeria – NBS (Bribery as experienced by the population)". The report was claimed to have been based on a survey conducted in April and May 2016 across the Thirty Six (36) States of the Federation and the FCT. 2. The deliberately ill-timed release of the findings from a survey carried out two years ago this week is coming at a time when the Nigeria Police Force has fully keyed into the change mantra of the Federal Government of Nigeria "Change Begins with Me" and total war against corruption. The Force has also established and repositioned the mechanisms of the Force responsible for fighting corruption, bribery and other corrupt tendencies within and outside the Force. 3. The Nigeria Police Force after a careful study of the report, wishes to state categorically that the report is entirely misleading, a clear misrepresentation of facts, essentially based on hearsays which made it unempirical, and the survey instrument absolutely inadequate and therefore a plain distortion of the improved situation in the Force as a result of the renewed commitment and determination to fight corruption, bribery and corrupt tendencies in the ranks of the personnel of the Force. 4. For the avoidance of doubt, since the inception of the present administration of the Nigeria Police Force in July 2016, after the reported survey has been conducted and concluded, the Inspector General of Police has introduced and implemented diverse internal reforms aimed at bringing corruption to zero level in the Force as follows: i. To ensure that Police Officers operate within the principle of the rule of law and respect the rights of Nigerians while performing their constitutional duties of protecting lives and property and to abhor corruption, the Police formulated a new set of directive principles titled "Our Creed" to reposition the minds and hearts of every Police officer and launched with the following doctrines: (a). We shall police the country based on international core values of policing with integrity (b). We shall ensure that the rule of law prevails in our actions and activities (c). We shall respect diversity, display courage, show compassion and demonstrate professionalism (d). We shall operate within the principles of Democratic policing (e). We shall shun corruption (f) We shall make Nigeria safer and secured II. Similarly, to further make police officers imbibe a culture where the rule of law forms the bedrock of our actions and activities, and give the fight against corruption the bite and new impetus, this administration has commenced the training of officers on the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA). The Act is considered an important legislation because of its innovative provisions, and every Police Officer has been enjoined to follow strictly the provisions of the Act. This will to a very large extent has been reduced and eliminated, instances of unlawful arrests, illegal detentions and inhumane treatments in the police stations across the country that can tempt officers to corruption tendencies. III. The X-Squad Unit of the Force responsible for the arrest, detention, investigation, and prosecution of any officer found wanting and culpable of corruption, bribery or corrupt tendencies has been reinvigorated, equipped and its personnel retrained with detachments in all the Thirty-Six (36) States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja to deal decisively with corruption allegations made against police officers to eliminate corruption in the Force. IV. The Re-launch of Complaint Response Unit (CRU) to a more broadened Public Complaints Rapid Response Unit (PCRRU) was carried out by the current Police Management Team to facilitate dynamism and to promptly address complaints against officers of the Force bothering on corruption. This unit is responsible for receiving and attending to reports of corruption from members of the public against Police officers, it was relaunched by the Inspector General of Police in Abuja in late 2016 and subsequently launched simultaneously by Commissioners of Police in all the Commands of the Thirty Six (36) States of the Federation and the FCT last year. V. Formation and take- off of Eminent Persons Forum across the Thirty Six (36) States of the Federation and the FCT to create public enlightenment campaign against corruption within the Force and inform the Public of the free and unhindered access to the Nigeria Police Force to report complaints of corruption against Police Officers. 5. The Nigeria Police Force has been working with critical stakeholders in the Criminal Justice System in the country' and other local and International Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) including International Human Rights Organizations to train and re-train Police Personnel to conform to international best practices to shun and detest corruption, bribery and corruption tendencies. This has engendered a change of attitudes and good disposition in the conduct of Police Personnel throughout the country towards abstaining from corruption. 6. However, it must be pointed out that the Nigeria Police Force sees the report as a clear demonstration of mischief and calculated attempt to promote a campaign of calumny against Police Officers. Nowhere in the report were references made to either the improved transparency in the Nigeria Police Force or the sustained daily sacrifice being made by gallant officers and men of the force in confronting criminalities in the society. 7. The Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni wishes to reassure Nigerians and the International Community that the Nigeria Police Force will continue to fight, discourage and shun corruption, bribery and corrupt tendencies within and outside the Force, and continue to discharge its statutory responsibilities according to the rule of law despite the obvious distractions from the report. 8. After the assault, the man allegedly told the victim that it was getting late, so he was going to take her to church. He took her to Methodist Hospital around 1 a.m. Thursday and left her in the chapel; where she told a hospital staffer about the frightening crime hours later, sources said. (Psalm 121:1-2) Pray before sleeping, and ask the Holy Spirit to protect your mind and heart as you sleep. It's very easy to fill your mind with all kinds of worries, fears, and negative things before bed. Sometimes TV, social media, or other activities can get you worked up. I would recommend that you take a few minutes before bed to pray and read some Scripture. You will calm your mind and heart… and the Holy Spirit will protect you always. According to legal documents recently filed,Julian will spend Monday through Wednesday with Thicke, 40 and Wednesday through Friday with Patton, 41, during the school year. During the summer, they will alternate physical custody of Julian on a "week on/week off schedule." He will also alternate weekends between his parents, and expenses — including fees for private school — will be shared between the former spouses. "The parties are ordered to share in all major decisions concerning the minor child's health, education and welfare including, but without limitation, schooling, religion, medical care and enrichment activities," state the papers. | (Photo) Fake journalist builds mansion in Kano | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 18 Aug 2017 10:11 PM PDT  One of the gang members, Musa Auwalu, 43 years old, from Nasarawa LGA of Kano, has built a mansion from the proceeds of the crime, the police said in a statement issued by CSP Jimoh Moshood today. The Police described him as the gang leader, adding that he was able to build the mansion from some foreign currencies stolen from an unidentified VIP at a wedding in Abuja last year. The other gang members are Kolawole Akinbode, 50 years old, from Abeokuta Central LGA of Ogun state, Umar Tahir Abba, 53 years old from Mubi LGA of Adamawa state. The others are 55 year-old Abdullahi Muhammed from Gudunfulani LGA of Bauchi state and 60 year-old Muhammad sale from Ngogo LGA of Kano state. All the fake journalists are men. According to the News Agency Of Nigeria (NAN),the Police said they recovered from the men thirteen expensive phones, fake Journalist ID Cards from equally fake media houses. "The gang leader has built a house in Kano from the huge foreign currencies he stole during a wedding of a Very Important Personality last year in Abuja. | Two Nigerians arrested after clearing American couple’s $120,000 retirement fund | Mr Olumide's Blog Posted: 18 Aug 2017 02:31 PM PDT  Their victims are American couple, Steve and Andrea Voss. The money allegedly stolen from them was their retirement fund. According to Mrs. Andrea Voss, one of her lifelong goals was to see different parts of the country, including Hawaii. "That's been my one dream," she said. "I really want to go there." Andrea and her husband, Steve Voss, are a year and a half into their retirement, local TV station, KSL, reports. Last week, they took a trip to Yellowstone, but when they got back on Friday, August 11, they noticed there was a serious issue with the money they've saved for retirement. "I was curious because the market was doing well this past week and I said, 'What's that at?'" Steve Voss said. "And I logged into my account and it's a zero-dollar balance."  Added Andrea Voss, "He told me and I was like, 'You've got to be kidding. This can't happen to me. This happens to other people.'"Steve Voss says someone had used his personal details to liquidate their account. The check had already gone out. "The package has been sent but redirected from my home for pickup somewhere else," he said. Unified police said the package hadn't been picked up yet, so they set up a plan to be there when someone came to get it. Eventually, police said two men showed up to get the package. Police said they followed the two and pulled them over. They said the men had fake out-of-state IDs and a separate 401(k) check from another person. A 401(k) is a retirement savings plan sponsored by an employer. It lets workers save and invest a piece of their paycheck before taxes are taken out. Taxes aren't paid until the money is withdrawn from the account. Unified police detective Shawn Fausett said all credit is due to the Vosses for checking their account. "In reality, this whole case is hinged upon Mr. Voss checking his balance," Fausett said. "If he wouldn't have checked his balance until (Monday) morning at 9 a.m., it would have been too late because the suspects would have been gone." Police identified the two suspects as Temilade Adekunle and Abdulrasheed Yusuf. They arrested the two for investigation of forgery, ID theft and communications fraud. Police believe the two had flown into Salt Lake City to pick up the checks. Officials believe the men were getting ready to leave town again. Police are also looking into whether or not other people in the area may have had similar experience. The total amount between these two checks, police say, was around $120,000.

The pair's relationship lasted several months after which Lazarus went on to end the relationship, claiming they simply didn't hit off. She wanted to remain friends, but everything took a turn when he didn't. She allegedly sent a series of menacing text messages — including one in which she allegedly said she'd accuse him of rape if he didn't pay her $10,000, promising to stop once she got the funds. The threats continued into 2016, and Lazarus was eventually dismissed from his job at a luxury car enterprise because his boss spotted a concerning post on the user-submitted gossip site, thedirty.com. His employer told him he could not risk the company's reputation over the harsh and illicit words written about Lazarus.  Titled "Joseph Lazarus is trash," the post describes him as "creepy" and "a guy who would have sex/rape fat chick just to amuse his friends." The documents filed Wednesday were also paired with text messages the woman sent to Lazarus' friends, claiming he would buy her dildos instead of flowers and that he was a "rapist, cheating liar." "I don't know what she's talking about," he told the Chronicle. "I certainly didn't mail her any sex toys." His attorney said he's taken more than a dozen revenge porn cases, but that it was the first time the alleged victim was a man. "There's no way Joe Lazarus can defend himself against these baseless allegations," Everybody has the right to be left alone. The source also said Grace Mugabe failed to turn up at a Johannesburg court hearing on Tuesday because of concerns she could be attacked. Engels' mother Debbie, who released photographs of her daughter with gashes to her head requiring 14 stitches, said it would be "very sad" if Grace Mugabe was allowed to leave. However, her daughter's legal team which includes Gerrie Nel, the prosecutor who secured a murder conviction against Olympic and Paralympic track star Oscar Pistorius — would counter such a move, she said. "Gerrie Nel and the team have contingency plans," she told Reuters, without elaborating. "They will run with it." Afriforum, an Afrikaans rights group that Nel joined in January after quitting as a state prosecutor, said it would be illegal for Pretoria to give Mugabe immunity and branded the plans a "disgrace". "The government has two responsibilities: one, to protect its own citizens and two, to act according to the law. And the granting of diplomatic immunity would transgress the law," chief executive Kallie Kriel said. Harare has made no official comment on the saga and requests for comment from Zimbabwean government officials have gone unanswered. You were smitten with her, dated publicly and bragged about how wonderful she is in numerous interviews. Do you remember all of your New York Jewish and African-American friends you probably spent more time hanging out with than all the WASPs you could find? Do you remember making sure Jews who were turned away at other country clubs had an open door policy at Mar-a-lago? Do you remember that guy? I do. That was the Donald I called friend. That is the Donald I know. Where is he now? I have to believe he is still in there, somewhere. The yogis say that life's journey is inward and we grow into the self by struggle and obstacles placed before us, and that they are only there to speed up our inevitable evolution, toward our connection to God or the higher self. All the turmoil surrounding your time in office is a test. It can be used for good or used for evil. You can ace it or fail it. It can push you toward being a smarter, more evolved and more self-aware version of yourself or be used to destroy you and the people you took an oath to serve. There is a ticking clock over your head, and the fate of the nation and maybe the world has already been severely altered by you.  The trouble is, time is running out. It takes but a second for disaster to strike. Remember Rwanda? As I assume you know, it was started by extreme Hutu nationalists in the capital of Kigali and soon before anyone could stop it, the genocide spread throughout the country with staggering speed and brutality. Previously law-abiding citizens were incited and encouraged by local officials and the Hutu Power government to turn on their neighbors. Sound familiar? Or what about the lost second that was a mere five years between when the concentration camps of Auschwitz were established to when Hitler took his own life? Or who can forget the widespread ethnic cleansing that accompanied the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1995? None of these experiences should be ignored. It is time you take responsibility for your role in inciting this violence. Your time in office has dramatically heightened tensions and damaged our democracy. Is this the legacy you want to leave behind? Your children's legacy and your grandchildren's legacy? On the road you are on, old friend, the Trump name will come to be regarded in American history as a wannabe dictator who surrounded himself with bigots, white supremacists and money-hungry wolves. If you do not change your course immediately, you will go down in history as the great divider, the destroyer of the environment and the embodiment of everything we as Americans have fought so hard to call ours. You have put in place many people whose mere presence is racially charged. Others who are there only to empower the rich at the expense of the poor. Everyone has darkness in them and everyone has light. For all of us, this is a constant battle — but the one who wins is the one we feed. You can begin to feed the light. The racist, bigoted movements you are feeding now are gaining power by your words, actions and refusal to hold people accountable for the destruction they are causing in your name. Racial tensions are rising, as is the Resistance. Their clashes have just begun and there have already been casualties such as Heather Heyer on your watch. Tensions are only going to reach more of a crescendo and more blood will be shed. And the people will blame you, and rightfully so. There are not two sides to a Nazi or a white supremacist, Donald, and you know damn well what you said on Tuesday was horrendous. The good news for you is you are still in office. You can turn this around. You can beat down racists and bigots, you can stop putting money into coal, stop destroying our environment, stop worsening climate change by empowering the factory farming industry. And for the love of all that's sacred, you can stop tweeting threats to North Korea that may get us all into a nuclear war. You can find your highest self. You can become conscious. Scripture tells us the Donald I knew — or an even greater Donald — is still there inside you, sleeping. It is time to wake him the f--- up.
