Hoodlums struck and killed a newspaper agent known as Saheed Eluyera, in Ilesa, Osun State today. It was gathered that Eluyera had earlier gone to supply newspapers at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa and was returning to his base when some youths attacked him and hacked him to death. Another agent said that Eluyera’s motor cycle broke down while returning and an argument ensued between him and some boys, who eventually hacked him to death. But the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, told PUNCH that only one person was killed in Osogbo on Saturday. He said the police were investigating the situation, saying those involved in the killing would be brought to justice. The CP said he had not been briefed concerning the killing in Ilesa.
